Last month we already heard that iPad 3 will support retina display, now there are some photos revealed on Korean Forum. According to the source, not many things about the next iPad 3 has been leaked, it means no details and even clarification of the high-resolution retina display. But, the photos leaked already confirmed that the upcoming tablet will bring higher resolution display than the recent iPad 2. It is shown from the different subtle in its cable ribbon configuration.
If we look at the photo, the above panel is iPad 2 and below is iPad 3 screen panel. From the picture of iPad 3 screen panel, we can see the existing iPad 2 has two brown wide ribbon cables which are used to transfer display data. Meanwhile, if we look at the below display panel, there are 3 brown wide ribbon cables that aims to transfer more data to power the high resolution display of 2048×1536. For your information, the 2048×1536 display resolution is four times higher than the resolution of iPad 2 display.
Well, whether it’s just rumor or true, we have to wait for other update in the future.
